LA and The Philippines
Suzanne is an award-winning film and television producer with international experience producing critically acclaimed programs for PBS, A&E, Animal Planet, ARTE, Canal Plus, WEtv, Discovery International, ABS-CBN Philippines, and Netflix.
Her project Maravilla, a feature-length documentary about middleweight boxing champion Sergio Martinez, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, Mar del Plata Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Documentary at Premio Sur in Argentina.
Previously, she produced Beyond the Silence, an investigative documentary about the rising tide of sexual violence on college campuses across America. In 2016, she produced and co-directed the feature documentary Curiosity, Adventure, and Love, which received five awards, including a Special Jury Prize at the World Premieres Festival in the Philippines and Best Documentary at the Soho International Film Festival.
She has collaborated with ActionAid International, and The Gates Foundation on a series of short films focused on the empowerment of women in Africa.
Currently, she is producing Zaatari: Through the Lens, a feature documentary that follows a young Syrian photographer who teaches refugee children to see the world through a positive lens — inspiring them to share their personal stories of finding hope and humanity in the world's largest Syrian refugee camp.
