Brian has worked with homeless and trafficked youth for over 25 years through Covenant House, a non-profit charity serving homeless youth in 6 different countries. He has run programs ranging from street outreach, drop-in centers, and shelters as well as rehabilitation, mentorship, and counseling for countless children over the years.
He was an advisor in the creation of MISSSEY, an organization that deals with the issue of sexually exploited minors. He is currently the Director of community involvement and runs the homeless drop-in center for Covenant House in Oakland, California.
Brian believes that young people who are experiencing homelessness are more than their circumstances and that their pain doesn’t define them, but their dreams do.
