Anisha is a senior global expert who has over two decades of global expertise working at the intersection of human rights, business, and international development, and 10+ years of dedicated expertise in social sustainability and business and human rights. Her career has been shaped by extensive lived experience across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, and further enriched by professional work across the Caribbean and Pacific. She works across the non-profit, Intergovernmental, UN, and Private sectors with a clear focus on impact, and a commitment to strengthening rights-holders’ voices within business and development
ecosystems.

 

Anisha currently serves as a Non-Executive Board Director of the Rainforest Alliance, contributing to inclusive governance, risk oversight, and strategic direction. She has also been the Chairperson of Ka Tutandike Trust UK, a philanthropic body supporting marginalized communities in Uganda.
 

Presently, she is based in Asia, supporting a pro-bono initiative in rural Rajasthan focused on mitigating gender-based violence by engaging men and boys as allies for
change.

 

Anisha holds an MA in International Development and a Diploma in Journalism, and is an alumna of the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship programme (ISEP).
